How does the IDENTIKEY IAS integrate with the Firebox?
The IDENTIKEY IAS acts as a RADIUS server and the Firebox is configured as a RADIUS client. The Firebox sends authentication requests to the IDENTIKEY IAS, which checks the user's credentials against its database and responds accordingly.
How does user authentication work using the IDENTIKEY IAS and DIGIPASS?
The user provides their static password and the One-Time Password (OTP) generated by their DIGIPASS. This combined password is sent to the IDENTIKEY IAS for authentication.
How do I configure the Mobile VPN with SSL client to use RADIUS authentication?
You need to activate the Mobile VPN with SSL feature on the Firebox and configure it to use RADIUS for authentication. You also need to add the user to the Firebox and configure their authentication settings to use RADIUS.
What are the requirements for integrating the IDENTIKEY IAS with the Firebox?
You need a Firebox or WatchGuard XTM device installed with Fireware v11.10.x and a VASCO IDENTIKEY Authentication Server version 3.9 installed on Windows Server 2012 R2. You also need a RADIUS server, Active Directory Server or LDAP Server for user authentication.
How do I test the integration between the IDENTIKEY IAS and Firebox?
You can use the Mobile VPN with SSL client to test user authentication. You need to download the client software, login with the user's credentials, and connect to the Firebox. If the connection is successful, the integration is working.
